Raspberries , this years crop went straight to Jam!
Apples, Peaches and Plums- our little farm orchard produced a small amount of fruit for sale!
Tomatoes- large and small, Cucumbers- field and pickling, Peppers- jalapeno and bell, Onions- white, red and shallots, Carrots, Radish, Tomatillos, and Roma tomatoes
Some of the tomatoes where used for Cherry Tomato jam, from the farm to the jar!
Beets, Kohlrabi, Cabbage- red and white, Brussels Sprouts, Pumpkin pie pumpkins, squash- spaghetti, winter, summer, turnips and parsnips.
What we don't sell, we use in homemade soups!
Sugar Peas, Green Peas, Green Beans for pickling and skinny ones for eating, Yellow beans!
Next season on the farm, we will only grow the Green beans for pickling, people liked them better for eating!
While visiting friends in the States, we discovered Beer Bread and made it our own!
Take this home, add a can of beer, mix and place it in a greased loaf pan at 400F for 40 minutes!
$4 for a bag, $5 for the cute bottle!
We added some herbs to the Plain! This can be served with cheese and meats or you can eat it hot with supper!

Concord Grapes! When the farmer up the road has too many grapes, Darrell gets cooking!
We use Mary's recipe to give this chunky pumpkin marmalade it's authentic flavour! Pumpkins grown on the farm!
Darrell learned to make this when we were overseas because we couldn't get it! It packs a punch and is a family favourite. This year, e are growing the peppers for it on the farm.
A few years ago a friend asked if we wanted to use her Rhubarb!
We use vanilla beans in this jam like offering. It's great on toast or hot on ice cream!
Our little patch of rhubarb , started on the farm 3 years ago, produce 200 pounds of rhubarb this year!
Wild Blueberries are our farmhand Riley's passion! Jam will be available in the fall!

When you have too much farm produce to sell, Pickle it!
This is an old family recipe!
On the rare occasion that people don't eat all the yellow beans, you can use this old family recipe to pickle them!
Often referred to as Electric Beans, these little guys get more potent the longer you leave them in the jar!
This chow uses brown sugar and is dark and tasty!
